Description:
Up for sale is a stunning Belgium made FN Superposed D4 Grade 12 gauge trap gun. Coin finished receiver features exceptional engraving, gorgeous game scenes surrounded by fine English scroll, signed by Lilly Lambert on the left panel. Trigger tang features locking screws and the serial number engraved in script. The factory target-style trigger is hand checkered. The wood is nicely grained and oil finished, also features fine hand checkering on both the stock and wide target “beavertail” forearm.
14 3/4" LOP to the end of the pad, 13 5/8" to the end of the wood, I believe it is uncut. Barrels measure 30" with hand filed Broadway rib, threaded for Briley thin-wall chokes (Mod and Mod installed).
Worth noting that there are almost no markings on this gun, the only one present is “Fabrique Nationale Herstal” engraved in script on the left side of the barrels.
Condition:
Very good with some minor handling in the wood, the receiver finish shows some light wear but largely intact. Barrel blue is excellent with some light wear.
