Description:

Standard configuration P38 with 5? barrel, drift adjustable front sight and separable rear sight, both with white factory highlights. Marked on left side of slide with Walther banner/P38. The full serial number is on the left side of the steel frame. Right side of slide is marked with the matching serial number, “Made in Germany”, and the “1886-1986” commemorative legend. Eagle/N proofing in usual locations. Wood checkered grips. Primary and spare magazines are marked with Walther Banner/“P38 9mm”, the spare magazine still in the original plastic shipping sleeve. Crisp test target and instruction booklet. Black plastic cleaning rod. Solid woodgrain box with orange/black end label referencing model, caliber, and serial number.

Condition:

A virtually new ensemble. Even the top of the barrel, that usually shows a small scuff over the barrel hood after opening the action, is perfect. No discernible flaws on steel frame. Comparable condition grips and magazines. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Crisp box.
