The H. J. Hussey Imperial Sidelock represents the pinnacle of early 20th-century British gunmaking, originating from the prestigious workshops of New Bond Street, London. As the manufacturer's premier offering, the Imperial model is renowned for its exceptional balance and the refined mechanical execution expected of a best-quality English sidelock.

This 1907-production unit is in stunning condition, featuring a golden-brown walnut stock with crisp checkering and a splinter fore-end that shows remarkably little evidence of use over the last century. The action is adorned with best-quality English rose & scroll engraving and "Imperial Ejector" markings that remain remarkably clear, while the 28-inch barrels retain approximately 95% of their original bluing with only a minor area of mild corrosion on the right tube.

This upland-ready configuration features fixed Improved Modified and Cylinder chokes, 2 ½-inch chambers, and a break action that remains exceptionally tight with properly timed ejectors. Measuring 45 ¼ inches overall with a 15 ?-inch length of pull and weighing 6 lbs 11 ? oz, this C&R eligible heirloom provides a sophisticated shooting experience for the discerning collector.
