The action is exceptionally smooth and functions exactly as it should. The bore is bright with sharp rifling.Overall condition is approximately 98%, showing only a few very minor handling marks from careful ownership. It has never been abused and remains an outstanding example of one of the finest Alaska guide rifles ever produced.This rifle was purchased new from Wild West Guns and has remained in my personal collection. Unfortunately, I no longer have the original paperwork. If you've been searching for an original WWG rifle rather than a modified Marlin, this is an excellent opportunity to own one.
