The Browning Citori 425 represents a sophisticated evolution in the manufacturer's storied lineage of Japanese-made over & under shotguns, renowned for their exceptional balance and mechanical longevity. This Grade 1 model utilizes the reliable Citori action to provide a versatile performance profile suited for both the competitive sporting clays course and the upland field. This 1999 production 20-gauge example is in excellent condition and features a walnut pistol grip stock with a 14 ¾-inch length of pull. The wood maintains a high-quality appearance despite a small dent in the stock as noted in the photography, and the unit is built with a right-hand cast and 30-inch barrels. The action locks up tight with bright, clean bores and features fixed Improved Cylinder and Improved Modified chokes with 3-inch chambers. Weighing 6 lbs 10 1/10 oz, the shotgun is finished with a ventilated tapered rib measuring from 8 ½mm to 10mm.
