The Winchester 5500 represents a distinguished chapter in Japanese firearms manufacturing, renowned for blending traditional aesthetics with the precision engineering of the Nikko factory. This 12-gauge over & under is designed for balanced handling and longevity, upholding the manufacturer's reputation for producing versatile and reliable sporting arms.

Presented in excellent overall condition, this 1994 production model features a varnished wood stock where the checkering remains remarkably sharp despite a few light handling marks. The receiver is accented by tasteful floral and scroll engraving, complementing the 28-inch barrels which have been exceptionally well-maintained and show no signs of corrosion.

Configured with a 14 ½-inch length of pull to the original Winchester butt plate, the shotgun utilizes fixed Skeet and Improved Cylinder chokes beneath a tapered 8 ½mm to 11mm ventilated rib. The mechanical operation is superb, featuring an effortless break action and positive ejection that ensures the firearm remains as functional as it is aesthetically pleasing.
