This specific 12-gauge example remains in exceptional condition, retaining 98% of its original bluing and vibrant color-case hardening across the receiver. The English walnut stock features a straight grip and a well-executed extension to a 15 1/8-inch length of pull over a rubber butt pad, while the initials of the previous owner, F. L. Wanklyn, are preserved on both the stock's silver medallion and the original case. The firearm is presented in its wood and canvas maker’s case and features fixed chokes of Improved Cylinder and Improved Modified. Mechanically robust with a single trigger and 2 ½-inch chambers, this C&R-eligible piece locks up tight and offers the weight and feel desired for a sophisticated day in the field.
