Description:
Up for sale is a very scarce Belgian Browning Superposed small bore set. The first set of barrels are chambered in 410ga, 28" long and choked Modified over Improved Cylinder. The second set of barrels were added to the gun at a later date, chambered in 28ga, measure 27.5", and chokes are marked Mod/IC but measure skeet and skeet. The wood is absolutely stunning with firey color and dark swirling grain throughout both the stock and forearms!
Ned Schwing's "The Browning Superposed" lists only 306 field choked 28" barreled 410ga Grade 1s being produced from 1964-1969 with only 1611 410ga guns in all configurations. These are some of the hardest to find standard production grade Superposed ever made! I've included this table as a photograph in this listing so you may be able to reference it and other Superposed variations, it is not a complete production list but it is a good reference.
This gun was restocked and completely restored by Art's Gun Shop where the long tang and extra set of barrels were added, it is an impeccable example of the quality of work they produce!
Length of pull 14 1/4 inches with neutral cast; weighs only 6.2lb with either set of barrels
Condition:
Appears unfired and unhandled since the restoration. Case is very good.
