Winchester Model 12 Trap Grade chambered in 20 Gauge, manufactured in 1924. Based on Winchester factory catalogs and Model 12 reference books, this shotgun is identified as an early Trap Grade, produced before Winchester began marking "TRAP" on the barrel extension, making it a particularly desirable example for collectors.
This Model 12 features the correct checkered walnut stock and a 26-inch solid rib barrel choked Modified. The length of pull measures 13¼ inches over a period-correct Jostam replacement recoil pad, which complements the gun's vintage appearance.
The shotgun remains in excellent overall condition, retaining a high percentage of its original factory blue with only light signs of honest handling. The wood is equally impressive, showing the care this shotgun has received throughout its life. Mechanically, it is tight, smooth, and functions as a classic Winchester Model 12 should.
