Description:
The barrel is dated 1938, but the gun was reworked in the late interwar period by MAC utilizing a recycled St. Etienne receiver which was not uncommon for these firearms. There are no import marks noted. All parts we could see with serial numbers are matching. The action seems to function mechanically properly. This includes two parkerized enbloc clips. This is a very nice Berthier carbine for the French martial collector. 8x50mmR Lebel
