Description:
Winchester Model 12 Skeet Grade chambered in the highly desirable 20 Gauge. Made in 1948. Factory Skeet Grade Model 12s are sought after by collectors, and original examples in 20 Gauge are considerably harder to find than their 12 Gauge counterparts.
This shotgun features the correct 26-inch Solid Rib barrel choked WS-1 (Winchester Skeet No. 1) and is built on a receiver factory-marked "SKEET,"
identifying it as a genuine Skeet Grade gun. It remains a very fine, honest example that retains nearly all of its original factory blue finish, with excellent overall appearance.
The stock measures 14 inches length of pull over the original factory red recoil pad, providing a desirable factory configuration. The only notable issue is that the front sight insert is missing and will need to be replaced. Aside from that minor detail, this is an outstanding, original Skeet Grade Model 12.
