Built on the robust N-frame and descended from the legendary Model of 1955 Target Revolver, it combines exceptional accuracy with classic Smith & Wesson craftsmanship. This 1975 example features the highly desirable 6.5-inch target barrel and retains the sought-after Three T's configuration.
The long target barrel delivers excellent balance while maximizing the inherent accuracy of the .45 ACP cartridge. Its crisp target trigger, wide target hammer, and fully adjustable rear sight make slow-fire precision work feel effortless. Whether shooting bullseye matches or ringing steel, the Model 25-2 has earned a reputation for outstanding mechanical accuracy.
Collectors immediately recognize the classic square-butt N-frame profile paired with factory walnut target stocks. The oversized grip fills the hand naturally and helps tame recoil while providing excellent control during double-action strings.
