This revolver was one of the most popular side arms of the Civil War and was the last of the Remington percussion revolvers to be manufactured. Due to a lack of raw materials in the mid-1800s, the South was forced to reproduce the famous 1858 Remington® revolver out of brass.
The Pietta™ 1858 New Army Revolver with Brass Frame features a brass finger guard, blued cylinder, octagonal barrel and walnut grips. The revolver comes with a removable cylinder that makes reloading fast and easy.
