This original Chilean military ammunition lot contains a total of 500 rounds of FAMAE-produced 7×57mm Mauser military ball ammunition, manufactured in June 1972 (Lot 65). The ammunition remains housed in its original military configuration with thirty-two factory 15-round cartons for a total of 480 boxed cartridges, plus an additional 20 loose cartridges inside the ammunition can, bringing the overall count to 500 rounds.
Each factory carton is prominently marked with the FAMAE (Fábricas y Maestranzas del Ejército) crest and labeled "15 Cartuchos de Guerra MAUSER Cal. 7mm." Production markings identify Lot 65 with a June 1972 manufacture date, while the packaging also specifies the use of Belgian spherical powder (Pólvora Esferoidal Belga), reflecting Chile's use of imported propellants during this period.
The cartridges feature brass cases loaded with full metal jacket military projectiles and were manufactured for Chilean Army service in Mauser rifles chambered for the historic 7×57mm cartridge.
