RARELY SEEN FOR SALE COLT 1911 RESTORED BY TURNBULL, restoration specialists in 1911s. The waiting list for a restored Turnbull Colt is 14 months or more. You can buy this one today. It is a World War 1 vintage 1911 manufactured in 1917, marked "United States Property." Barrel is bright with good rifling .and has the correct stamps. Magazine is refinished in proper two tone. Restoration included black walnut double diamond grips hand checkered in correct Colt pattern. This piece has not been fired or handled since restoration so it is blemish free. Comes with a Turnbull hard case and Turnbull paperwork detailing restoration. I'm age 80 disposing of my collection so this gun is priced for practically the cost of the resoration. $4,650.
