Description:
Winchester, Model 12 Trap Grade, CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1941, SN: 924350, Pump Action Shotgun, Choke: MARKED Full, 3'', 28'' Solid rib barrel, including Poly choke. The reciver extention is Marked Model 12 Trap. The original checkered & capped pistol grip wood stocks are very good & solid, despite a stress crack & small chip at the wrist the emanates from the left side of the receiver, run back into the checkering, over the top & back to the receiver on the right side of the wrist. There are other minor scrapes, scratches & contusions to the original finish. The wood displays an excellent rippled & feathered grain. The original metal blue finish rates 70% on the barrel, toning plum as it thins & with some speckling. The blue rates 80% on the receiver & mag tube, with speckling & cleaned pitting & the top of the receiver blue having been touched up over the cleaned speckled pits. Bore is very good & bright. The barrel rib holds a mid bead, while the front bead is mounted to the twist Poly Choke.
