Description:
The Western Field Model 59A is a semiautomatic rifle chambered in .22 LR that was essentially a rebadged version of the Savage Model 6A and other similar designs, also produced as the Stevens Model 87A/87D. It was marketed by Montgomery Ward as a "Western Field" rifle, even though Savage Arms was the actual manufacturer. It was in production from 1938 until the early 1960's. Condition of this one is shown in the photos. The action is smooth and the bore is bright. No box or case. .22 Long Rifle
