The Browning BPS Field Upland Special is purpose-built for fast-moving upland game where instinctive handling matters most. Its compact 22-inch vent rib barrel makes this shotgun exceptionally quick to shoulder and ideal for flushing quail, grouse, woodcock, rabbits, and other close-range game while retaining the legendary durability that has made the BPS one of Browning's most respected pump shotguns. This example is desirable MIROKU JAPAN production manufactured in 1998.
The shorter barrel gives this shotgun extremely fast handling without sacrificing balance. Combined with the smooth pump action, steel receiver, and 14-inch length of pull, the gun points naturally and transitions quickly between targets. Browning's bottom-loading, bottom-ejecting design also keeps empty hulls away from the shooter's face, making the BPS equally comfortable for both right- and left-handed shooters while helping keep debris out of the action.
The BPS has earned an outstanding reputation for reliability thanks to its robust steel receiver, dual action bars, and exceptionally smooth cycling action.
