Built in 1934 this New Service Target model is equipped with a 7 1/2” barrel, original blue finish and checkered walnut double ribbon Roper target stocks. Note that this was a full King Super Target conversion with a gold bead front sight and target rib. These are highly sought after by advanced collectors, as are the Walter Roper target stocks. The gun remains in very fine overall condition with the barrel and cylinder showing some flaking and minor touch up in the period by the King Gun Sight Co. who completed the conversion in the 1930’s. The bore is superb and the mechanical working order is flawless. Overall a desirable dual caliber marked New Service Super King Target with Roper grips that will enhance any collection!
