Description:
Like new in box 1993 Smith Wesson model 4506-1 chambered in .45 ACP and features a mint 5" barrel. The 4506 was manufactured from 1990-1999. Features a DA/SA action with a hammer. Combat trigger guard with checkering and a checkered front strap. Wrap around one piece design stocks. Safety/De-cocker is on the left side slide. Novak style sights that are drift-able.
This Later, modified version of the 4506, incorporated changes made to strengthen the basic design for the 10mm Auto cartridge version, and is basically the 1006 Frame. Changes to the slide manufacturing process. Trigger guard changed from square to round. The hammer and trigger were changed to blued instead of receiving a flash chrome finish, and the S&W roll marks were dropped in favor of laser etching.
A super robust 1911 challenger on steroids. These guns are very sound and reliable.
This example is like in new condition and comes as shown with two factory 8 round magazines, matching numbered box and papers. A complete, classic pistol from a classic maker for the range or any collection.
