Description:
Left hand Aaron Little custom Winchester Model 70 .375 H&H Magnum. Consigned by the original bespoke owner and based on a New Haven barreled action, serial G2598928 has a 23.75-inch tapering barrel (.715-inch muzzle diameter, recessed crown, hooded ramp front sight with textured ramp and brass-beaded blade, banded sling swivel stud, ERA island rear sight assembly with adjustable notched express blade, second recoil lug). Features include a rust blue finish, full-length claw extractor, jeweled bolt body, three-position safety and custom drop box bottom metal (inside-the-bow release). Talley fixed mounts (1-inch low rings) are attached. No case, papers or build sheet. STOCK: Properly profiled as a classic dangerous game rifle, the AAA-grade walnut stock is appointed with a slanted ebony forend tip, fine wrap checkering with partially Mullered borders, crossbolt, ejection port scallop, open grip, steel grip cap, inletted toe line stud and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. The stock is unsigned. CAPACITY: Five rounds (four plus one). The extractor "snaps over" rounds dropped in to the chamber. Feeding/extraction/ejection are positive. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with mounts) is 9.2 pounds, length-of-pull is 14.2 inches and cast on is approximately .25-inch. CONDITION: Never hunted. The bore is superb. Metal finish is at least 98 percent, the majority of adjustment owing to a small area of trace superficial freckling on the grip cap. Wood is approximately 99 percent. The price is firm and layaway is available. $10,000 plus shipping.
