The DP-12 is a unique American-made bullpup pump-action double-barrel 12-gauge shotgun produced by Standard Manufacturing Company (sometimes referred to as Standard Mfg. Co.). Introduced around 2015, it stands out for combining the compact size of a bullpup design with the high firepower of dual barrels and dual magazines.

Action: Pump-action with a single trigger. The first pull fires the right barrel, the second fires the left. One full pump cycle ejects two spent shells and loads two fresh ones (one into each barrel).
Effective Range: Optimized for close quarters (around 20–25 yards with spreader chokes).
Design and Features
Bullpup Layout: The action sits behind the trigger group, integrated into the stock, making the gun short and maneuverable while keeping relatively long barrels for better velocity and patterns.
Feeding and Ejection: Inline feeding from independent magazine tubes. Large bottom loading/ejection port behind the pistol grip (bottom-ejecting, which helps with ambidextrous use and keeps hulls from hitting the shooter).
Controls: Ambidextrous AR-style safety and pump slide release. Co-molded non-slip rubber pistol grip and composite foregrip.
Recoil Management: Rubber recoil pad with dual spring-loaded mechanism; the gun’s weight also helps tame recoil.
Accessories:
Long top Picatinny rail (about 13.75\", 34 slots) for optics/red dots.
Bottom 7-slot rail (often with a vertical foregrip).
M-LOK slots for further customization.
Comes with spreader (\"Max Spreader\") choke tubes (Tru-Choke thread pattern); optional tactical chokes available.
