Starr Arms. Model 1858 Double action army revolver. Cal. 44. 6" round barrel with an excellent bore. Barrel has toned to an even brown patina. The frame and cylinder retains 85% original blue with loss on the high edges and lightly scattered scratches. The lever and hammer show generous traces of their vivid case-hardened colors with the balance showing a smoke grey patina. The one piece walnut grips rate very good plus showing some light dings with crisp cartouche on both sides. Revolver functions beautifully. A truly fabulous Starr revolver. Serial # 11460.
