The Miroku MK38 Sport Grade V is a premium Japanese target or sporting clays shotgun that combines exceptional reliability with elegant styling and competition-ready performance. Built by Miroku, the renowned manufacturer behind the Browning Citori line, the MK38 shares much of its proven design and many interchangeable components with its Browning counterpart. Known for outstanding durability and precise handling, the MK38 has become a favorite among serious clay target shooters worldwide.
This example is chambered in 12 gauge with 2.75 or3" inch chambers and fitted with 30-inch special steel barrels with invector chokes sytem. Weighing 8 pounds 12 ounces, it offers the ideal balance and swing characteristics for trap, sporting clays, and other target disciplines. The matted ventilated target rib is equipped with both a white mid-bead and white front bead, providing a consistent sight picture.
The shotgun is built on a robust boxlock action featuring a single selective trigger, ejectors, and non-automatic safety. Mechanically, it remains in very good overall condition. The bores are clear, the trigger is crisp, the action locks up tightly, and the ejectors are strong and in time.
The coin-finished receiver is beautifully decorated with Miroku's Grade V scroll engraving, covering nearly the entire action and giving the gun an appearance well above its price class. The richly blued special steel barrels provide an elegant contrast to the engraved receiver.
The shotgun is stocked with deluxe walnut and fitted with a sporting forend. . Fine diamond-point checkering remains sharp throughout, and the stock is finished with a factory Miroku ventilated recoil pad.
