Description:
This is a big gun! 42 13/16 inch barrels. 8 bore. Belgian Liege proof on the bottom of the barrels. Retains a pleasing patina overall with some surface rust and pitting. Does not appear to be maker marked. Bores are a bit rusty. Wood has some dings and handling marks, with a piece missing from the right side of the forend as well as a minor crack on either side extending back from the locks (pictured), appears to be pinned in the wrist as well. The dual barrel keys are wooden replacements. Original wood ramrod with puller at the end. The left lock only holds at half cock, the right lock functions fine. This monster of a gun walked into our shop out of a local Long Island estate. Roughly 59 1/2 inches long overall.

Firearms are not test fired, however we do test the action to see if it functions properly for a dry fire. We do not put any ammo in it or disassemble to check internal parts. We will sometimes take off barrels or stocks in an attempt to prevent damage in shipping. We only sell used guns, and have no way to know how many rounds have been through them. WE DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY. ALL FIREARMS, REGARDLESS OF AGE OR FEDERAL ANTIQUE STATUS have to be shipped to a dealer for transfer within NY. Other states are fine, depending on your state laws. We will not ship to a New York, NJ, or CA C&R holder, a standard FFL is required. There are some states in which a C&R handgun MUST be shipped to a dealer, such as MD. Please know your local laws. We are not going to risk OUR livelihood. WE DO NOT OFFER ANY IN STORE PICK UP, EVERYTHING WILL BE SHIPPED.
