Manufactured in 1977, this Browning BT-99 represents one of the highly regarded early Miroku-built Japanese trap guns that helped establish the model's legendary reputation among competitive clay target shooters. Configured as a factory two-barrel set with both 32-inch and 34-inch barrels, this shotgun offers exceptional versatility for singles, doubles practice, and handicap trap competition while retaining the rugged simplicity that has made the BT-99 a fixture on trap fields for generations.
The included 32-inch barrel delivers a lively, responsive swing that many shooters appreciate for singles events, while the 34-inch barrel offers additional forward weight for an exceptionally smooth follow-through on longer handicap targets. Combined with the Monte Carlo walnut stock, comfortable pistol grip, and factory recoil pad, the shotgun naturally aligns the shooter's eye with the rib while helping reduce felt recoil during long days of competition.
