Description:
1927 Colt Pre-War SAA chambered Inn 45 LC with a 7.5 inch barrel and factory blue/color case finish. Also included is the original box numbered to the gun. Per the included Colt Archive letter it was shipped to Toledo, Ohio, July 30, 1927. This is a collector grade Gun. All numbers match on the frame, grip frame, Grips, and cylinder. The original blowing still retains all of its deep dark shine throughout and the color casing is brilliant. All of the leading edges remain 100% sharp. Outside of some pinprick peppering that is mostly isolated to the back strap of the grip frame it is hard to find any other real dietractions on this revolver. Overall, the finish rates a solid 98%+. The bore is bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. All four clicks are crisp, and the lock up is tight. The factory grips are flat out exceptional with sharp checkers throughout. This single action is close to a century old. Finding them in this condition with the roiginal box is extremely tough and it will make a nice addition to any advanced collection.
