The Ruger No. 1 itself is a collector's gun, but the 50th Anniversary is a category unto itself. The bluing is deep and dark which brings out the gold inlays all the more. This rifle was well taken care of and only has minimal handling marks from being in the safe for most of its life. The trigger is smooth and crisp with minimal creep. The action is smooth. Even with it being this beautiful, you can see it would be a fabulous shooter. .45-70 Government
