This Remington Sportsman 48 is a long recoil operated semi-automatic shotgun. These were produced from 1948 through 1968. This model has a Poly Choke which appears to function properly. Action itself also appears to function properly mechanically. Will need a good second cleaning. At the current sale price this is a good value. 12 Gauge
