Originally built in the legendary gunmaking city of Suhl in 1917, the heart of this rifle is a highly collectible, wartime Imperial German bolt-action receiver displaying a crisp, Gothic-script "GEW. 98" side rail rollmark and authentic Reichsadler proof stamps. Built out as a classic hunting rifle, it features a shortened, maneuverable 24-inch barrel bedded into a lightweight sporterized wood stock and comes equipped with a precision adjustable Redfield rear peep sight.
