This book covers the various rifles using the patents of Andrew Burgess: The Burgess lever action rifles, the Whitney/Kennedy and Whitney 1886 Scharf, the 1881 Marlin, The Colt Burgess Lever action, and the Tiesing Rifle. This is about the only information available on the Whitney/ Kennedy and 1886 Whitney/Scharf and is a must have for any Whitney collector or shooter.
