"Serial no. Z1572. Converted during the 1950s–1960s for the Guardia Civil, chambered in 7.62x51 NATO, 22"" round barrel. Bore is excellent with strong, well-defined rifling noted. Serial numbers are matching. The rifle remains in overall very good condition, showing only minimal handling wear. Originally built as a Model 1916 Mauser, this rifle was later converted to 7.62 NATO for continued service with Spanish military and law enforcement agencies during the Cold War. Action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
