"Serial number D company 53. Made in 1847. 44 caliber with a 9"" barrel. This is a very neat all original walker as found. The original barrel has been shortened at the lug and measures slightly over 3"". This gun has scattered pitting and a dark gray patina throughout. Accompanying this gun is a well made replacement 9"" barrel. This allows the owner to display this gun in the original walker configuration without altering the original pieces to the gun. Very Neat Original Colt 1847 Walker!
