Description: Antique 1840's Swiss Magnenat 9.1mm Percussion Stutzer — Vaulion Match Rifle Early Small-Bore Swiss Stutzer — Double-Set Hair Trigger — Tang Peep Sight Description Heavy Swiss percussion match rifle made by Magnenat of Vaulion, Switzerland around 1840. This is an early small-bore rifle with a double-set hair trigger, built in the Swiss Stutzer pattern for serious offhand match work. Unrestored and honest throughout, it presents as a good example of pre-cartridge Swiss target rifle making. Add this classic Stutzer to your collection. Blued barrel finish is turning ash gray with some thinning, with minor frosting on the trigger guard and buttplate. Original ramrod present.
