"Serial no. 3091438. Manufactured in 1942 by Remington Arms, chambered in .30-06 Springfield, 24"" round barrel marked “R.A./Flaming Bomb/2-42." Bore is good with strong, well-defined rifling noted. The rifle remains in overall good condition, with the stock showing expected handling impressions and honest service wear. This is an early WWII-production Remington Model 1903, manufactured as the United States rapidly expanded small-arms production for the war effort before Remington transitioned to the simplified Model 1903 Modified and later 03-A3. A solid example of an early wartime U.S. service rifle with an attractive military appearance. Action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
