Russian Military Makarov made by Izhevsk Arsenal in 1961 whose early magazines were later-electropenciled with matching serial numbers, mirror bore, and proper manual function.

Description:

Standard configuration Makarov with fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Izhevsk Arsenal marking on left side of frame along with manufacturing date of "1961”. Import marked on right side of frame. Early configuration plum-toned safety and two early Russian style magazines, originally mismatched as ""2270 / 1" and "476 / 2", subsequently lined out and electropencilled with a matching "1696". Single piece reddish maroon plastic grip with two checkered panels impressed with encircled 5 pointed star.

Condition:

VG+ original bright blue with noticeable cleaned spots on each side of the slide and light freckling/slight thinning of the frontstrap. Comparable condition grip with a scattering of light handling marks, particularly near the rear edge. VG+ renumbered magazines. Mirror bright bore. Correct manual mechanics with each of the magazines.
