Offered for sale is a Star Model F semi-automatic pistol chambered in .22 Long Rifle, manufactured by Star Bonifacio Echeverria, S.A. of Eibar, Spain. Built with the quality machining and craftsmanship that made Star one of Spain's premier firearms manufacturers, the Model F has long been appreciated for its reliability, excellent balance, and classic styling.
This example features a 4 1/4 inch barrel, blued steel finish, original checkered brown Star grips, fixed front sight, and an adjustable rear sight. Chambered in economical and accurate .22 Long Rifle, it is an outstanding choice for recreational shooting, target practice, or as a collectible example from one of Spain's most respected firearms makers.
The pistol remains in very good to excellent overall condition, retaining an attractive original finish with honest handling wear consistent with careful use over the years. The original Star grips remain in excellent condition, and the markings are crisp and easily legible. Overall, this is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a classic European rimfire pistol.
