Built specifically for skeet and recreational clay target shooting, this Browning Citori Grade I delivers the balance and precision that have made the Citori one of the most respected over/under shotguns ever produced. Chambered in lightweight and soft-shooting 20 Gauge, this 1986 Miroku-built example features desirable 28-inch barrels with fixed Skeet chokes, making it exceptionally well suited for close-range clay presentations and upland bird hunting.
The 28-inch barrels provide a smooth, controlled swing while still remaining lively between stations. Combined with the reliable Browning boxlock action and substantial beavertail forearm, the shotgun points naturally and manages recoil exceptionally well. The checkered walnut stock with a 14.25-inch length of pull and factory Browning recoil pad offers excellent shooter comfort during extended days on the skeet field.
Manufactured by Miroku in Japan in 1986, this Citori represents one of Browning's most respected production eras. The precision-machined steel receiver, durable locking system, and legendary mechanical reliability have earned the Citori a reputation for digesting hundreds of thousands of rounds with minimal maintenance. Tasteful factory engraving, satin-finished receiver, and handsome walnut furniture complete a timeless sporting shotgun that remains highly sought after by shooters and collectors alike.
The 2 3/4-inch chamber is optimized for standard target and field ammunition, making it ideal for skeet, sporting clays, and upland game. Its fixed Skeet chokes produce broad, forgiving patterns that excel from approximately 15 to 25 yards, providing fast target acquisition and dense yet even shot distribution for close-range clay targets and flushing birds. The ventilated rib and white front bead promote rapid sight alignment while maintaining a clean sight picture.
