"Serial no. 8158329. Manufactured circa 1963 at Chinese State Arsenal Factory 26, chambered in 7.62x39mm, 20.5"" round barrel. Bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted. Serial numbers are matching throughout. The right side of the receiver bears an import mark, while the left side has been fitted with an aftermarket scope mount. The original cleaning rod and bayonet have been removed. Stock remains in very good condition, showing minimal handling and usage wear. Factory 26 was the principal producer of the Chinese Type 56 SKS, and early 1960s examples retain many of the traditional military-production features associated with earlier Chinese manufacture. Action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
