An Early & Very Desirable U.S. Civil War Military Issued 3rd Model Colt Dragoon Revolver In Very Nice Untouched Condition. Serial #16,102, made in 1856. All original and complete. U.S. Sub Inspected on both metal & brass parts. The revolver has nice metal and markings throughout with fine edges. It has a clear barrel address All the metal on the revolver has a very even and natural darkened brown patina throughout it. All screws are nice throughout the gun. The brass backstrap & trigger guard are also fine with an untouched patina. The original grips are excellent throughout with a clear U.S. Inspectors Cartouche on both sides. It has a fine tight action and bore. This is A Fine Untouched Example Of An Early & Desirable U.S. Civil War Military Issued 3rd Model Colt Dragoon Revolver That Would be A Fine Addition To Any Civil War Collection!
