Exceptional 1932 Colt Pre War SAA 32-20 5 1/2'' Blue/CC Carved Ivory with Original Box

Description:
1932 Colt Pre War SAA chambered in 32–20 with a 5.5 inch barrel and factory blue/color cased finish. Per the included Colt archive letter it was shipped September 29, 1932 to Cícero, Illinois. Also included is the original box numbered to the gun. This is a collector grade single action. The numbers match on the frame and grip frame. The cylinder is numbered 79 versus 54 on the frame. The finish is an extremely high condition. The original bluing still retains all of its deep dark shine throughout. The leading edges are all crisp and the straps are perfect. As seen in the photos there is only the very slightest of superficial handling and overall the finish rates 99%. The bore is bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. All four clicks are crisp and the lock up is tight. It is wearing an old set of carved ivory grips with an eagle on the left panel and a steer head on the right panel. This is a very nice and complete 91-year-old package.
