The Ruger New Model Single Six Magnum was introduced in 1984 as a variant of its iconic single-action Single Six line, which dates from the early 1950's. The New Model designation refers to the inclusion of their transfer bar safety system that allows safe carry with all six cylinders loaded. This gun offered for sale here is from the first year of production, 1984. It is chambered in .32 H&R Magnum and will also handle the milder .32 S&W and the .32 S&W Long cartridges. It has a 6 ½" barrel and weighs in at 2 lbs. The 6-round cylinder shows quite a bit of finish wear and has quite a noticeable drag line. There are also some nicks and scratches on the rest of the blued finish. There is an adjustable square notch rear sight with fixed serrated ramp front sight. The gloss walnut grip panels feature the SR (Sturm & Ruger) logo medallions and do show some nicks and scratches from use. The bore is bright and clean and the action locks up nice and tight. There is no damage to the muzzle. This classic Ruger has seen a fair amount of time at the range or in the field, yet still has plenty of life left and is a good value. This revolver is sold without a case or box. .32 H&R Magnum
