Scarce Colt Whitetailer .357 Magnum revolver, made 1986, with 8" barrel, matte finish, contoured rubber grips, and upgraded Burris 2-7x32mm Ballistic Plex handgun scope whose rings include a separate set of adjustable iron sights.

Colt Whitetailer .357 Magnum revolver, SN: 661991, produced in 1986, only 1,000 manufactured, with eight-inch barrel, red ramp front sight, fully adjustable rear sight, and mounted Burris 2-7x32mm Ballistic Plex handgun scope whose special rings include yet another red ramp/fully adjustable rear sight sighting system. Left side of barrel marked with the "WHITETAILER / .357 MAGNUM CTG.", Rampant Colt on the sideplate, verified proof breaking finish, the right side of the barrel with the single-line Colt address in Hartford, Connecticut. Fitted with black checkered, finger grooved, rubber grips with gold-colored Colt medallions on each panel. Complete with an updated, recent production Burris scope marked "HANDGUN 2-7x32mm" with "1" Tube | Posi-Lock" and "Ballistic Plex" specifications, Item# 200299. The Whitetailer was a very limited production revolver intended for the hunting market.

Condition:

EXC original finish throughout with the revolver having a few small rib marks corresponding to a previous scope mounting, a faint cylinder ring, and very minor handling marks. Light cartridge head imprinting on recoil shield. The scope, of more recent manufacture, has a few superficial marks behind the front rings, perfect optics. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. Complete with original scope box with paperwork and tag as shipped from Burris.
