Description:
Standard configuration 6-Shot S&W M27-2 revolver, cal. .357 Magnum, made circa 1978, with 5 inch barrel having serrated ramp front sight, fully adjustable rear sight, and 3 screw N frame fitted with target hammer, target trigger, and target grip with football cutout. Left side of the barrel marked "SMITH & WESSON" while right side of barrel is marked "S. & W. 357 MAGNUM". Right sideplate with S&W logo. Right side of frame marked with the usual S&W address and "MADE IN USA". Full serial number and model inside the crane. Complete in original mahogany case with blue plastic inserts, accessories, and all factory literature including warranty card.
Condition:
Wonderful 99+% bright original blue, cylinder ring barely breaks through blue, no cartridge head imprints on the recoil shield. As new grips. Mirror bore. Excellent case, though inserts with usual losses around front/rear sight. A great S&W 27-2 revolver with the rare 5 inch barrel, virtually new in presentation case with all accessories and literature.
