This Ruger three-screw Blackhawk chambered in .357 caliber is a classic single-action revolver with a 6.5-inch barrel, weighing approximately 2.5 pounds and holding six rounds. It features an adjustable rear sight with a fixed front ramp and was manufactured between 1962 and 1973. This gun is in very good condition. What makes this example particularly desirable is its three-screw configuration, along with its pre-warning status—produced before Ruger began marking safety warnings on the frame. The presence of the raised "ears" on the top strap places production after 1962, while the absence of the transfer bar safety confirms manufacture prior to 1973. Altogether, this is a correct, mechanically traditional Blackhawk that represents Ruger's original single-action design before later safety revisions.
