Smith & Wesson Model 19-5 – Classic K-Frame .357 Magnum
For sale is a Smith & Wesson Model 19-5 double-action revolver, chambered in .357 Magnum. This revolver is in great used condition and represents the classic K-frame .357 that has been revered by law enforcement, shooters, and collectors for decades. Manufactured in 1985 (the "-5" revision, produced from 1982-1988), this example features the non-recessed cylinder and non-pinned barrel characteristic of the -5 series.
This Model 19-5 features a 6-inch barrel and a 6-round fluted cylinder. The revolver has a rich blued steel finish with adjustable rear sight and a fixed blade front sight. The finish is fading and wearing off the hammer and trigger, and there are handling marks throughout with light damage to the checkering – honest wear from decades of use. Mechanically, the revolver is excellent, with a smooth action and crisp trigger.
