Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 in .357 Magnum with 4 inch barrel - very good condition


Description:
This S&W Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman in .357 magnum caliber is a one-owner gun.  Maufactured about 1978 with matte bluing (showing very light holster wear on the cylinder edges and muzzle) and is an excellent example of a fine duty revolver. Well-balanced with the 4 inch pinned barrel and underlug, and smooth double action trigger pull. Chambers and shoots .38 Special ammo in addition to the .357 Magnum for target practice that won't break the bank.  Carried professionally about a year, then fired rarely since.  Bright bore and cylinders.  Color Case hardend wide trigger and target hammer, adjustable rear sight, target front sight with luminous paint front ramp, sporting original checkered walnut grips with Smith & Wesson medalions, and an extra set of rubber Pachmyr gripper grips. Pinned barrel. Comes with a Safariland leather thumb-break duty holster, and 3 HKS speedloaders too. Selling due to arthritis in my shooting hand, or I'd keep it forever.
