Description: A nice Colt Rail Road Express Agency Marked..Police Positive 4"MFG in 1931, ser# 343,131. 38colt/ S+W .38 caliber. R.E.A. was the for runner of UPS and Fedex.Back in the thirtys until aprox 1970"s. This piece is factory marked on the backstrap and in very nice condition. The bore is very good as well as the cylinder. It locks up tight and works great in single and double action. the grips are nice on both sides ,the bottom of the butt is a little dinged up from use. The finish is very nice with a little wear front and back. The cylinder has odd rub markes between the cylinders but it brobably from the holster as it the same on all of them,they are not very noticible . The badge($50.00) comes with and is an original as you can see, it has hallmarks. A nice piece of early transportation history when the Rail Road was king and working with R.E.A. company.
