Offered here for sale and just acquired is a fine classic Colt Cobra  .38?Special with a 2″ barrel. Serial number 19625 it is almost certainly one of the First Model (sometimes referred to as "First Issue") Cobras—those built between 1950 and 1971. The Colt Cobra was produced from 1950 to 1981, in two main generations:

• • First Model: 1950–1971, featuring a lightweight (≈?15?oz) aluminum alloy ("Coltalloy") frame, exposed ejector rod, and usually a round or square butt grip.
  • Second Model: 1972–1981, heavier (≈?16?oz), featuring a shrouded ejector rod and ramp front sight (“Baughman-style”)

The absence of a shrouded ejector rod strongly indicates your revolver is from the First Model era, so it dates from 1950–1971. Letters like “LW” (Light?Weight) were commonly appended in the mid?1960s to denote alloy-frame revolvers. Based on the number being relatively low and in the five-digit range, early 1950s to early 1960s is a reasonable estimate. The  revolver retains most of its original finish with just some slight holster wear forward of frame and it has a wonderful pair of Heretts custom grips. A summary of features
