Description: Bear Arms Promotions is extremely proud to offer up this rarely seen Colt Commando 38 Special with the original box, manual, and wax paper. These Colt Commando double action revolvers were only made from 1942-1945 with approximately 50,000 built. This one has a serial# of 4387 and was one that had a brief run with 2-piece walnut grips with the Colt medallion on both sides. The grips are in very good condition with some light marks. The original parkerized finish is excellent with minimal wear. This is the 4" barrel version and holds 6 shells. The box is in fantastic condition and has the serial# written in pencil on the bottom of the box. Overall this Colt Commando appears to be in Collector Quality and came from the customers uncle who had this when they were in the military.
